The NanoGlue systems combine precise pick and place with active or passive alignment of components which are attached by epoxy gluing. In case of active alignment, ultrafast routines cut process times to a minimum. Active feedback signals can be optical power, beam steering or any other varying measurement signal which can be read via a standard interface.
The curing procedure of the adhesive is typically performed with UV light. The dispenser and UV curing source are implemented in the process software. The versatile cartridge concept allows to produce different devices on the same station without any set-up times when changing from one device to another. |
With the TestMaster process software, process development and true volume production can be performed easily. Machine vision capability allows full process automation. The NanoGlue stations can be integrated into production lines. Standard interfaces such as SMEMA are used to communicate with forerunning and following third-party systems. |
